VINCI UK Foundation awards over £260,000 to charities in 2026

At the heart of the VINCI Group is a commitment to improving everyday life and creating lasting social value. This commitment goes beyond the infrastructure and facilities we design, build and maintain. The VINCI UK Foundation aims to drive social progress - supporting charitable initiatives that create opportunities in training, employment, housing, mobility, and leisure.

In the UK and Republic of Ireland, VINCI businesses, including Freyssinet, VINCI Concessions, VINCI Energies UK & RoI, VINCI Construction UK, VINCI Facilities, VINCI Construction Grands Projets, Belfast International Airport, Soletanche Bachy, Gatwick Airport, Ringway, Taylor Woodrow, and NUVIA UK – are proud contributors to this collective effort.

A year of impactful giving
2026 marks another significant year for the VINCI UK Foundation, with £269,797 in grants awarded to 54 not-for-profit organisations across the UK and Ireland. In addition, each initiative is sponsored by at least one VINCI Group employee, who commits their time and expertise over a 12-month period – bringing each project to life through personal involvement.

Routes
Connected Routes C.I.C. helps women from refugee and asylum-seeking backgrounds overcome barriers to employment and education through mentoring, skills development and practical support. Sponsored by Marie Dobson, HR Director, the VINCI UK Foundation donation will fund 20 laptops for its 2026–27 Mentoring Programme, helping participants access workshops, mentoring and job or course applications. In addition to sponsoring the project, Marie will volunteer her time as a mentor, providing guidance and support to help participants.

All Sports Coaching Academy (ACCA)
ACCA
supports veterans and emergency service personnel in training as sports coaches, helping them rebuild confidence while making a positive impact on young people. Once qualified, coaches deliver sports and mentoring programmes in local schools. ACCA’s latest initiative, Mind Your Head, is designed to equip children with practical tools and strategies to support their mental wellbeing. Sponsored by Clare White, Marketing & Communications Manager, funding will help launch Mind in Motion, a mobile programme that addresses an important gap in provision for children who are home educated or unable to attend mainstream school.
