Safety Days 2026
Safety is a core part of how we work. Each year, colleagues across the business come together to learn, share experiences and challenge themselves around a key safety theme.
This year marked the launch of Freyssinet’s Lead for Safety Manifesto — 11 guiding principles that set a clear, shared framework for our approach to safety. The manifesto reinforces our commitment to embedding safety at every stage of our work, from early planning and design through to procurement and site operations. At its heart is a simple message: safety is everyone’s responsibility.
Our 2026 focus, “Are You in a Safe Place?”, addressed the people–plant interface — one of the most significant risks in our day-to-day operations, especially where people and heavy equipment work side by side.
Safety sessions were delivered across our offices and sites, including HS2 PSV in Birmingham, Glasgow SPT, our Telford head office, and St George’s in Weston-super-Mare.
As part of this ongoing commitment, all employees are now signing up to the Lead for Safety Manifesto — taking personal ownership of the role they play in keeping themselves and others safe.
